2015 Summary of Art

Hi, hi, hi. A new year has come, so it's time to think about what I've done (And what I haven't).
 
In 2014 I had a very erratic workload, leaving a couple of months without drawings.
This year I was capable of doing at least one drawing every month... barely (Some months I uploaded the last day)  





Ok, the first month was a bit of a cheat. 2014 Summary of Art don't count really, but... was the only thing I did that month  
Ok, I did something else: My fanfiction of Diablo 3, but that will come later.

Looking at this, I find funny that this doesn't show a logical progress. Part of this was because using different concepts. Others for "not enough time".
But it looks strange that the works on May and August are of low quality compared with the others.
The first was the idea of creating a new character (Something that didn't last too much) and the other was about testing a simple dark drawing. Maybe it was too simple XD
And there's a comic, too. Trying to learn how to do one. It wasn't bad at all

The semirealistic works really showed progress in quality... but they really took me too much time (Nearly one month every). They were very useful for learning new techniques.
Anime drawings looks nice, but I think I didn't practice with them enough. That's something I'll do more this year.

About literature, although I wrote lot of chapters, I feel there weren't enough. Maybe is for shinies, but I enjoy more drawing... although when I'm inspired I write, and write and write as hours fly.
Guess that's the feeling I miss when writing. I'll try to recover it not focusing so much just in drawings.

Speaking about that... My OCs didn't received a good treatment this year either. Ironically, I drew more OC fanart than my own OCs  
That will change this year (I'll draw more of them, theirs and mine ).


2015 was a better year than 2014 in the end. I felt it wasn't at first, but I was capable of working on art constantly.
Maybe I was a bit slow, blocked, depressed or whatever. This year will be better.
I have lot of ideas, I'm good with that. Time? Guess I have the same 24 hours daily than the rest of the world, so...
It's just about managing time better. I can do that. I'll do.

New projects on the horizon, lot of anime for fanart and my OCs ready. Drawings will come.
Fanfic advancing to the end of Act 2. Act 3 will come this year. The idea would be finish them... but either for lack of mood or a superb inspiration this will take lot of time.
If I write a lot, then it's fine. More than finishing something, in this case the focus is just write. I'll finish eventually as long as I keep writing.
Traditional drawing? Yeah, I have to do more of that. I begun doing traditional, Liked shading and so on. Although few, I can do some of them.

Last year I learned a lot. This I will too. Gaining more speed and persistence will be the focus. Just practice in other words
I have ideas, projects, and reinforced willpower. This will be a great year for me.

It really will.
