Here are some tips from my experience about jumping from amateur to professional.
1. Make it happen
Nothing will come your way if you don't set the ground for it. In other words "don't wait for success to knock your door, smash his own door and get in (cit.)".
Don't waste time, keep on studying every single day and stay committed.

As a cartoonist, I'm used to mimicking dfferent styles to fit in big projects or established character designs. Today I want to share tips about drawing fan arts, capturing the essence of someone else's character while adding a bit of your personal touch.

This is based on my own personal experiences, mistakes, dead ends and fuckups.
So take anything i say here with a few grains of salt.
In fact , reason i'm writing this is that i have started getting an unsettling amount of notes flat out idolizing the imperfect unfinished mess that is my style, so before it harms people's growth i wanted to share some personal insights i learned over time. Some through experience, other through conversation with industry professionals.

180 Degree Rule
This is basically an imaginary line that the camera cannot cross when filming a conversation (action etc) between two characters in a scene.
The cameras can shoot anywhere on one side of the action line. This is so that the characters don’t appear “in reverse” and confuse the audience.
